What I like and dont like

oh my, did you really take my complete jest personally with the gay bar thingy? Are you serious? I am sorry if you did, my friends an I on many chat boards do that to each other and others all of the time. Not once has ANYONE ever said it was degrading or anything. It is supposed to be funny, feel free to change any one of my posts at any time to suit yourself.

You posted you "like everything", so in my own warped humorous way, I can suspect in jest that means gay bars too. See the segue?

And yes, I have a gay cousin vito whom I love, and a lesbian aunt as well whom I love. Therefore, I hope you can see I wasnt being degrading?


Why is it because someone is agnostic they dont stand for anything? I am spiritual. I believe that there is no way to know if there is or isnt a "god" based on the words of man without evidence. It's the same as saying "prove there is a god". You cant. I cant prove there isnt. It's faith. I dont believe in blindly accepting any one faith without evidence. My faith lies in the possibility of anything out there.

Who is to say Buddah isnt the real god? Or Allah? Or Jesus? Or a purple spaghetti monster on star wx-31 Orion?

as I indicated, I should have taken your comment in jest. this is in retrospect (hind sight always being 20/20).

Not know you, or your personality, I took your initial comments, along with future commnetary, as possibly degrading.

If we had been speaking face to face, I could have easily read your body language and determined your intentions. this is kind of tough with written words at times.

Now i know!

No way to ever know, and I dont think man is capable of going beyond any time soon and returning to tell the tale. If ther eis one.

I love a mystery, and thus why I simply cant believe any one religion.

Well, I apologize, perhaps as well we dont know each other well enough for me to have done such a thing, and I do now see how you could have taken it a different way. I apologize if I over stepped by "friendship" bounds.

I just assumed by now most people know Im more or less a goof ball trapped in a wise arses mind.:grin:

:smt001 I remember having a philosophical discussion about this movie at some point in the past, and the representation of the shoreline.

Good stuff. I need to see that movie again, been a while.

Like I said, its been a while, but the movie was interesting and profound as far as looking at ourselves and our faith. Whatever you believe in, even as an agnostic, it makes you think.
