What I like and dont like

I like;

The quiet of early mornings
Things that are well made
Music of all types
Mallowmars
The small of a womans' back
Surprising loved ones with gifts
Working with wood
Sunsets on the water
My childrens voices

I dislike;

Noise
People that repeat themselves
The smell of diesel

I like wit, whether it be on a boat's transom, a tee shirt, a bumper sticker, or a ball cap. For instance, while duck hunting back in December, I saw a guy wearing a camo cap with "PETA" over the bill, and in small print below that "people eating tasty animals". Or the sticker I noticed on the rear window of a Honda Element "You have just been passed by a toaster".

I like chocolate chip cookies

" I like tennis"

+1, no I LOVE tennis, playing and watching...so you must be a good guy ;-)

I like tennis too, wanna see my tennis pic?

Three topics within two day, that have no point, all put in the holding tank, all trying to start or stimulate conversation about nothing, that has nothing to do with Sea Ray or boating. I guess the difference is this is not a chat room yet a message board. However if people did not like it, all they have to do is ignore it and you would just have three topics with one posting in each.

As for your debate there are plenty of boards where you can go and argue your beliefs or opinions, the reason people join a brand specific board is they get tired of the banter. If you want to know the sites that encorage it, send me a pm, and I will forward it to you. You can go kick tires around there for someone to argue with.

Rant off, I am going on vacation.

I think Gary and Mike should cover for you while your on vacation...

billandamy,

you pushed buttons when you went ahead and modified what i had quoted (this should have been taken in jest, I know).

Then you went ahead and stated that (paraphrased) "i have several relatives that are gay". Well why did you modify my comments in a derogatory/degrading manner?

agnostic, i guess, means that you actually don't stand for anything?

You are religious. You have the God Father as your avatar!

There's a reason it's called faith. You believe or you don't - research isn't really required.

As an old Southern Boy, it's all pretty simple:
God
Country
Family

Sorry Bill - I'm just plain folk.
:lol:eek:n the godfather...true.

Dood, no apologies necessary. Faith is a wonderful thing, and I am firm on everyone should be able to worship or believe in anything they want.

lol...well, yea I guess I kinda love it, we have a lighted pro hard court at home. The wife and I play a few times a week. My serve STILL sucks no matter what I do though.:smt013

You play often? Been playing for a while?

Come on Wes, lighten up man. It's the holding tank! The description alone BEGS for crap being slung around for fun, entertainment, and even stimulation. Note that I specifically stopped posting my drivel in the dog thread and started one down here so it wouldnt be up there.

You say 3 topics about nothing, I say Seinfeld became one of the wealthiest entertainers based solely on that idea:thumbsup:
SSo whats wrong with banter...isnt that what a community bulletin board is for?

And again...the holding tank man, the holding tank! No one EVER has to come down to this slimy place for any reason EXCEPT to have some banter. I assume that was the purpose of this specific forum?

Have a good vacation Wes, we love you. In a non sexual way of course, but the love is there man.

I have been playing seriously since 1994. I play USTA League tennis. 4.0 player, can compete with the 4.5 guys but the wheels are getting old, bad knees, too many aches and pains (yeah, at 41). Our men's 4.0 team almost went to Nationals last year...we have a strong enough team to go this year.

I play socially 1-2 times a week and play leagues matches 1-2 times a week. Mrs started playing last year as a 2.5, she is now a 3.0.

For the non tennis folks out there, you get rated from a 2.5 - 7.0. Anything above a 6.0 is someone making money at tennis, usually on the pro tour. Agassi, Roddick, those guys are all 7.0s. 2.5 is a beginner, you go up by .5 as you get better.
