Oh man...my bud Pete from hockey emails me and tells me "I built this catapult, and my wife wants me to get rid of it...do you want it?"

What do ya think?

He's bringing it by Saturday or Sunday, and Im going to set it up in the corner of the backyard :grin:

Next time those jehovahs come with "Watchtower" I am going to have some fun. Or maybe the cats will finally "disappear".

I believe I would just tell him to keep it, unless you have a lot of space to play with it...Otherwise ..whats that possible sound I hear? Sirens?...trouble

Little people, big catapult!

I dont think this one poses quite the threat as that 2000 lb counterweight! This one is more meant for slinging dog poop at neighbors I dont like, getting rid of used oil filters, and missed garbage pick up days.

Interesting. I have owned a Franchi SPAS-12 for many years that has the folding stock to allow you to fire it with just the foregrip as this gun shows. I have only fired it that way twice in 20 years. If you have ever shot a 12 ga in this mode then you will know why.

What kind of gun is that and have you ever fired it? I bet it was pure hell on your hand.

Mossberg 500 Road Block 12 guage. Legal with FID. It is basically a riot shotgun with a muzzle and heat shield. 6 in the tube, one in the chamber.

Although I have never handled one, this quote sticks out from your link:

What is your experience?

the SPAS that I own is an older design and now cannot be imported any more. It is either Pump or Semi Auto selectable. The folding stock was meant to be for a small area to store the gun. But it can be fired easily with the stock folded on top of the gun and used as a PG type shotgun. It is hell to handle in that mode though. Better have it against your side, and not from the hip or it might fly out of your hands. Been there and almost done that
