What happened to the SLX-W 230?

It looks like Sea Ray has dropped this model only one year after introducing it.

I thought it sounded like a great boat for wake boarding/surfing (V drive, side thrusters, ballast system, computerized drivers console).

The reviews I found online said it was really, really good. Did it just not sell? Was there something wrong with it technically?

I would consider buying a used one, except I am concerned that it has some fatal flaw that caused Sea Ray to abandon the project.

Thoughts, opinions or pure speculation appreciated.

Odd. On my iPhone it shows up under the model selection but on my iPad and PC it does not.
Hmmmmm.

Not really sure i know they struggled to compete with the likes of Mastercraft,Nautique,Malibu on this Market but they should have kept going as its the fastest growing sector of the boating market currently

The boat is great and surfs great. The fatal flaw was the price point for the tow boat market.

I have one. Its actually serial # 001. We love it! I know it was made again in 2018 but I have not seen one for 2019.
