Wow, is everyone in a deep Coma now? I know the weather is bad, but come on people, snap out of it, it's getting close to spring time, and now the weather is changing , going to be in the 30's all week, it's been 5 weeks of frigid cold temps and 30's sounds kinda balmy........... waker up all you Hibernators

Reporting for duty as requested!

Been putting in about 10-12 hours each weekend getting ready for spring splash.
Arch comes down this week for some new wiring and new GPS antenna.
Buffing starts on Sunday.
70 days till May 1 and counting

Better days ahead

Boltman,

I agree...I was watching the weather forecast for the upcoming days, and I have never been so excited to 40 deg. and rain. Looking forward to removing the shrink wrap. Approx 70 days until we launch.

I was on the water on Saturday. It reached 81 degrees.

Robert-

Last week we were -17. Hit 40 today in Wisconsin. Almost forgot to wear my coat home from work. Sun is out just a little more each day. Had brunch at place on Lake Michigan Sunday. Spent some time watching seaguls take rides on ice blocks while we sipped the afternoon away. Still too cold to playb on the boat in storage. Maybe next year I'll store with Jared - Cutting Edge. He has a heated Facility. JUst a few more days like this and we will be out of our winter trance and ready for anything.

Did some more research on Elk Rapids. I like what I have been finding. I'll try to dig up more phots for our Cruise meeting on Saturday.

I've been in Florida on vacation. I now have my Disney World Combat patch. Went by Merritt Island and took a few snaps of 44DAs in final assembly. I like mine better--half the price. I cut shrink wrap on March 10th and will pass on any winterization lessons learned. Either I did it right or the kid from Cummins is going to be busy.

Hey Skip,

Hope that you had a nice vacation!
Maybe you can post these 44 pics?

Peter

Been looking at a new (used Searays) from the 290's to the 370's. went to florida to check out a few and you can really see what salt water will do to a boat.
now I understand salt water boat are less expensive
