Hi Guys,
We are in the middle of heatwave here in the UK !
One of guauges tells me sea water temp which is great but it says for example the water was 74 degrees F but a bit research tells me the max in June is actually 56 F in June, while I believe the gauge is working properly i.e. it has slowly gone up over the last few weeks and has been consistent one day to the next but perhaps I misunderstand what it’s actually measuring ?
Also where would this sensor be located in the engine ?
Can it be recalibrated ?

Cheers
Simon.

It's in the depth transducer. Have you actually measured the sea temp? Surface temp will be different than that 6 feet down and also will vary by location. Stick a thermometer in the water.

I haven’t actually measured the actual temperatures, but I will as a matter of interest.... As a diver I have often experienced going through the thermocline layers, but not in the UK ! Far too cold for me
But at least I know it’s not a sensor around the engine water intake.
