What does Shrink Wrapping cost you?

I shrink wrap my own boat.
So, my time and materials are all I have to consider.
Materials around $120.00 per year.
My time priceless (Ha, Ha).

Plus the "Shrink fast" heat gun was around $650.00
And, usually need to have a helper to get the film over the boat.

How about yours??
I have heard stories of some wild prices.

outside services charge anywhere between 8.00 to 15.00 /ft. . I have seen marinas charge as much as 20.00 . I also do my own boat. wrap costs about 300.00 per roll the roll is about 200 feet long. We get 2-37' 1-38 ' and 1-24' out of the roll. If it's warm out we do all in one afternoon with 2 bottles of propane about 36.00 a big roll of flat rope goes a long way. so we get 350.00/ 136 feet of boat . that is about $2.50 per foot.

425.00 with a door seems like alot but it keeps the boat nice and clean thru the winter

At Cove it is $22 per ft this year, I moved the boat for the winter up to Bridgeport CT and they are charging $11 per ft! It is not a "pretty" place but I am saving $1500 for the winter, between storage and shrink wrap.... I am saving almost half my fuel bill for the summer! I will be back at Cove for the summer.

Prices around here are all over the place up to $18'. We charge $11.50 a foot for boats at our boat yard or $13 when we travel.

You need to let us know about these things. That's a huge difference for a short distance.
