Random question, but...I keep seeing several Sea Ray Sundancer models referred to as 260 DA, 300 DA, etc... Is this just short for Sundancer or does it mean something else?

It is a factory term for Sun Dancer. I had to ask the same question to my surveyer.

Thanks! That's what I was thinkin'...

You would think they would use SD for Sun Dancer.

SD was already in use for Sun Deck so they needed something different so they used the first two letters from DAncer.

Whenever I have been around people that have worked for Port Arrowhead for any period of time prior to MM - they often would refer to the Sundancer as a Dancer. So maybe internally it started that way.

But then how does that logic translate to DB? Damn bridge boat?

Maybe they were originally from Chicago. Its a short walk from "Da Bears" to "Da Bridge"...
