Next year I'll consider doing the freshwater system last because I kept wanting to wash my hands. I would soap them up in the cabin then go outside to the dock water to wash them off since I had no water on the boat.
What do you take off/leave on the boat - leave on/turn off the boat when you winterize

Maybe keep some waterless hand cleaner from the auto store on board and some paper towels, just for those cases of dirty hands and no water available.

Do you take cleaners, fuel additives and other chemicals off that the cold could affect?

If I was was storing unheated, I'd pretty much empty the boat of everything except soft goods rags, paper towels, paper plates silver and such).
We store in a heated storage we give the boat's inside a good cleaning. Remove food and bedding . After the holidays we start going up to the boat and plugging it in when we are there to get it ready for the season.

I did bring the toolbox home to organize it and check for things I have 2 of and don't need. Seems I have thrown a lot of stuff in it
