'03 Volvo C70. I get a little crazy with the washing and detailing, but it's worth it to me when I get shocked responses from people who hear it's a 7 year old car with +100k miles on it. Lots of people think it's brand new!

97 Chevy 4-wheel drive with a 5.7L...97 Sea-Ray 24' DA also with a 5.7L..My wifes daily driver is a 2000 Suburban 4-wheel drive. I ain't about about to get rid of either truck anytime soon...There's literally a plethora of new, used and after market parts available for Chevrolets and besides, my old truck is starting to take on a unique smell all of it's own.:smt001

Sprink56, Sweet Car. Nice to see some old school muscle cars are here.

Here is my 1966 Chevy 2. I mowed my aunts grass all summer for it and have had it since I was 14 years old. I am now 48. I have almost sold it like 20 times and changed my mind at the last minute. It has a sb chevy engine that has a bit of a rough idle. It runs low 13s to high 12s in the QM. Its not perfect but always runs and drives. I tow our boat with a 1996 Chevy suburban 4 by 4 with a 350 vortex. Its older but nice to tow with.

Nice "Deuce"

My girl in High School had a '66 Chevy II SS with a 350 horsepower 327, Muncie M-22 4 speed and a 3:73 12 bolt posi. Her brother and I would take it to the drags and take a pair of "cheater" slicks with us along with a floor jack. That car would run consistant low 12's with slicks.
On the street you couldn't launch it...it had F70 x 14's on it factory and that was as big a tire as you could get under it. From a roll it would stay with anything...and I mean anything. I got a ticket in that car one night out running a 413 Super Stock Dodge! I did not outrun the "Blue Light"...125 in a 50.:smt101

The Camaro was based on the "Deuce" unibody but was a few pounds heavier. I think those cars had a power to weight ratio very close to the C-2 'vettes. They were all fast for the day.

I love muscle cars! Some of the new ones are pretty impressive. Still, the originals from the 60's and very early 70's are still the coolest. There is just something about the sound. I love that a guy with some know how and a limited budget can still build a car that can shame the likes of worldclass Lambo's, Porsches, etc. in a straight line.

Sprink,... love that Camaro!

I have not had the time to look at all of the post. I am sure there are some nice rides posted. Thanks Sprink 56 and 330DA I really like your cars. My high school bud had 69z with a 302. He would try and blow the engine but never did. He would cruise steak and shake on the weekends. He would hold it to the floor for about 20 seconds under no load, without a rev limiter and let the clutch go. I saw 7500-8000 rpms on his tach many times. He never blew it, he just wore it out a few times and bought many rear ends and a clutch every month or so. His dad had alot of cash. Mine made me pay for everthing myself. My small block 400 engine is the same one from high school and never rebuilt. Take care.

Thanks! Used to have a Suburban to pul the trailer. It is set up to haul my Harley ... when I had one ... now it's just storage and garage for the lawn mower tractor.

The Bimmer was a find on eBay ...an auction gone sour and I was able to buy it for a song. Invested $2500 in a thorough 100K miles service (new brakes/rotors, all fluids, cooling system hard parts and the mandatory UCC short shift kit plus new tires) ... its our our summer fun mobile.
