Pulled up some on my stantions for some glass work. What cauking should they be rebedded with? The old caulking was still soft (like plumbers putty). The hull in this area is solid glass so its just to keep the water out of the boat. I was thinking clear silicone....any suggestions?
Thanks.....Ed

3m 4200.

Yes. That is what Tiara uses and probably Sea Ray as well. Do not use 5200. You will cause damage trying to remove it in the future.

Thanks....Both products Life Caulk and 4200 are listed for bow stantions. Which one is easier to remove for the next maint project?

Would the 3m 4200 also work for the windshield? I need to re-caulk along the bottom.

so used 4200....what solvent do you use to get the residuals off? Thanks,
Ed
