What are your plans for Labor Day weekend?

Working the weekend :( coffee on the dock first, watching the sun rise. Happy Sunday everyone. Let's not forget what this weekend is all about. Welcome September1st. Be safe

That's my story too in Boston. Oh well, I can try again to find a place where the new fluxgate compass works, and maybe get to go out tomorrow to see if I was right.

Same weather up here on the North Shore. Maybe Monday or Tuesday (day off) will be better.

Good deal. Glad that SRL was able to make the show. Marketing should be able to get some mileage out of that.

Send Rusty back in one piece. He is too valuable to become damaged goods from all you left coast boaters!

Maybe two pieces but we'll get him back! He may try and take my Caribe back with him. He's getting some mileage out of it and seems to like it a bit too much... He's on the back of someone's 310DA having breakfast now.

Rusty needs a chaperon I'm telling ya. My niece and her boyfriend went out there...in a short time she started talking funny and became a lesbian with neon magenta hair.

Cute...

same here man, sat at Marina Bay and got drunk at the dock last night, stayed at home and recovered all day today. hope it's nicer out tomorrow.

I do have to say there are over a hundred more Rusty Higgins fans out here after what he has done here! As I have said all weekend, "This doesn't suck"!

We left the marina in North Miami on Saturday at 3pm, and arrived at Bayside around 4:30pm. Got the boats slipped and enjoyed the rest of the day bbq'ing on the boats.

Sunday morning we left Bayside and headed South towards No Name Harbour. As I made a quick detour to gas up at Rickenbacker marina, we saw a hydroplane land and shortly after take off again. Pretty cool, no pix tho.

Got to No Name just in time to fire up the grills again and cooked more Sirloin.

Later we were joined by more friends on their Cranchi 48.

In the evening I found myself in the bilge on the Meridian for over an hour fixing their generator sea water pump and later went back to the regular drinking.

Today we had lunch at Boater's Grille and this is what I had in front of me:

Finally, we left at 2 something and since seas were calm, we came back on the ocean. Real nice one hour tun on plane, only myself on the boat (wife and son rode in the Meridian so he could get some sleep).

All in all a fantastic weekend, but I'm glad to be home so I can get a decent amount of rest.

I hope everybody had a fantastic weekend!
