Wed night I left Wisconsin with a load to Battimore. Weather not good as it snowed on me most of the trip. I unloaded and reloaded at the Port of Balitmore. Here I am WORKING next to the water, I mean its right there, and just thinking about spring and boating:smt013!

ACY is short for Atlantic City ....airport thing...09 is this year......

Jitneys?.....bring 'foe dolla' to ACY09 and you'll get it....

Jitneys are the local mini-buses that run throughout Atlantic City. $4 to any location...the drivers are 'NUTS'....:smt101

Tell me you did not haul just that one tractor on that rig. (Grin)

Noticed the New Holland tractor loaded on your trailer.

We saw several trucks on I-70 headed WEST loaded with brand new John Deere equipment - mostly smaller 50 - 75 hp tractors, this last weekend. I remember remarking to my wife that since I thought most JD stuff was made in Illinois and Iowa, that JD must be having those made overseas, painting them JD colors, and shipping them into the states via Port of Baltimore. As a trucker, do you know if that's what's happening? If so , so much for made in the USA!

Nice Pete Cat powered?

The Pete is filthy due to tons of WI, IL, IN, OH, and PA road salt:smt119. It has a 600 Hp C16 CAT, 18 speed Eaton Fuller trans ans 3.55:1 running gear. I took an Army truck to Baltimore. The tractor is going to WI. I picked up a Manure spreader in Carlisle PA to go with it. That filled out the bottom deck of the trailer. It's friday and there isn't enough time to get the last 10 ft with another partial load aven if there was one avail.
John Deer makes tractors all over. There are plenty of them at the port coming into the states. I mostly get New Hollands from Baltimore. I have picked John Deeres in Houston Ports before. Now JD does make lawn tractors in Horicon WI. I have hauled many of those as well as parts in back when I was a cheap freight hauler (trucker term for dry van.)
You'd be supprised what comes in at the ports. I have seen that more stuff seems to come in rather than out.:smt018

I do sometimes but the wierd thing about him at least to me is his operation is different than most truckers so the things that would work for him would never work out for me.

See what I mean, I work here
