Greetings All,
I hope y'all had a great Independance Day celebration. Our boat club in Ft Lauderdale had a gathering on the 4th, and as usual it became quite the party. Of course there were many different types of boats (I'm not a Searay snob) with grills on almost every boat, plenty of libations, and great music. All in all we had 14 boats rafted on North Lake in Hollywood, right off the ICW. We had a beautiful view of the fireworks, and almost everybody, even the open console folks spent the night. Our club has folks from every walk of life, and is continually putting on social events whether at the marina, or out on the water... I put my camra away before it got too crazy, as I took my DSLR instead of a point and shoot, and didn't want to risk giving it a bath....
This is why I love boating!!!!!!!
I wonder what we'll "cook up" for Labor Day?
