Hope every had a safe Holiday. We were on Middle Bass got spooked by the weather forecast so we came home Sunday after noon. The entrance to West Harbor look like a Texas Trump parade. The odd thing was most the boats that were coming off the Lake where larger in size and the ones going out were small runabouts.

We were out for a ride on Sunday, kept watching the sky, finally decided its getting worse and not better and cruised home. The rain started just as we got tied up and we had to scramble to put the ising glass in.

Like you, I could not believe the constant stream of boats heading out with the apparent incoming weather.

We left PIB Sunday because of the potential weather Coming..... was it as bad as everyone thought?.... because in Port Clinton back at the marina it was a non event

I would rather be on the side of cautious when it comes to Lake Erie. She's a mean Mistress and she lets it show.

Fortunately, it was pretty much a non-event, just rain and a little wind. I respect the hell out of that lake and didn't want to tempt her.

Now the storm that came through early Monday morning was badass. Winds gusting 50+ with some biblical rain.

We stayed at PIB until late Monday afternoon. Got a pretty good storm overnight Sunday, but winds were mostly out of the south so the island was protecting us. We moved around more on Friday night. Had a great ride back to Sandusky...

They are calling for frost tonight as the temperature is suppose to get down into the 30's. At least next week it is suppose to warm back up into the 70's
