Westerbeke Tune up

I have a 7.0 BCG westerbeke generator which calls for a 2 degree BTDC. Would like to look at it, but it does not have a a 2 degree mark. Has any one looked at the timing on their generator and can anyone suggest a good adjustable timing light that I can purchase.

Always a good thing to have the manual for everything aboard- mine's diesel so I can't help there, but I bought the service manual from these guys:

My adjustable timing light is a Craftsman. It does the job. Of course, if you want the best, that would be Snap-On.

I have a different genset, but the same engine, which I've rebuilt. Long story. Pretty unsophisticated little thing. Shouldn't be hard to time.
