westerbeke 7.6 no power to start panel how to troubleshoot

Getting ready for a trip and test out the generator....no click, nothing. Power at rotary switch, power at starter solenoid. Nothing when you try the rocker switch in the cabin. Nothing when you try the start switches on the gen set. Ran fine before a pounding trip two weeks ago.

Where do I start? Seems like its not the remote since the switches on the unit will not start it up either.

When you put power to the preheat solenoid (jump out the 12g red to #14 pur/white) you hear everything click in and if you hit the start switch from the engine it starts up. As soon as you take power off the preheat solenoid it shuts down. Don't know if that tells me the all the cuts out work or not. Took apart the 12v panel in the cabin and it gets power on the red lead and power out when switched on.

Fixed....I guess the remote switch had a loose connection. When I pulled the 12g spade connectors out to test them, when I put them back in and tried the switch again, bingo. Its running now and AC is on.
