A Queens woman ran a garden hose into the cabin of a 30-foot boat moored at an Oceanside dock and filled the cabin with water Wednesday afternoon, causing interior and engine damage, Nassau police said.

Marcela Olmos, 51, of Forest Hills, was charged with criminal mischief in the 4 p.m. Monday incident.

She caused $2,000 in damage to the Sea Ray Sundancer, docked at the Port Hole Marina on New Street in Oceanside, police said. Olmos was arrested at the marina.

She faces arraignment Thursday at First District Court, Hempstead.

I bet she unplugged the power cords also.... oh the humanity!

Only $2000? What'd she do, just get only one cushion wet?

Good question? Let's see you run a garden hose into a 30 foot Sea Ray, turn it on, and according to police; "causing interior and engine damage."

Lest see the manifold?riser/elbow parts for one 8.1s Mercruiser list for $2970.00. I know the water would not hurt the manifolds, (Used for an example here) but how does one come up with a $2,000.00 figure?

Nah, she wanted to wash up the head. That's how we do our shower stall - get the hose in there and....
