Well, Sundays are now shot.

I've been a Seahawks fan since the day the franchise began. When I moved the the New Orleans area 4 years ago most Sundays were about watching the Saints and the 'Hawks. But I am in agreement. Sadly, I will no longer support the NFL and after the display of "Unity" at last Thursday's game between the Dodgers and the Giants I'm finished there as well. But I have to admit....its gonna be hard. I sold the boat a few weeks ago so I don't have that distraction but I did buy a BMW Z4 as a diversion. I guess Sundays will be for a ride in the country.

It will be interesting however, to see if the NFL reacts to the pressure of no fans like they did to the pressure from a minority community that got a bit butt hurt. I watched a video a couple of nights ago of Candace Owens (black) reciting George FLoyd's criminal record and her incredulousness at how this douchebag was honored. Someone said it earlier, don't break the law, keep your hands on the dashboard and you'll be OK.

It saddens and frustrates me beyond words how so many businesses have bowed to this pressure. It's time to start pushing back....somehow.

"Reading this thread gave me a boost, guys. Thanks. 27-year law enforcement officer and 22-year military reservist with three stints on active duty. I thought everyone hated us!"

OK guys, here's my bit of pushback. I got this idea from something I read or heard in the past couple of weeks. I decided to put my thoughts into action and had 200 of these bumper stickers printed buy a local company.

It's hard to see but in the background is the Law Enforcement version of the American Flag, complete with the blue stripe.

I passed these out to the local police/sheriff departments and they were so popular I didn't get all the departments supplied. I ordered another 200 and they'll be ready tomorrow. I have one sheriff's dept and one police dept left to go but I told the ones I've already delivered them to to call me if they need more.

I don't put stickers on my cars, but would buy a couple of those

GFC, your original post reminded me of something I will never forget.
When I was a kid, my grandfather took me to a Tacoma Tigers game, just the two of us. Bright sunny daylight on freshly cut grass, in an old creaky small town stadium. He was a WWII and Korea vet. The Anthem played and we stood with hats off.
Halfway through the game, we were sitting and a younger guy wants to get by and says "Excuse me". My grandfather said: "You didn't stand for the anthem, and I'm not standing up for you. Find another way around." It was suddenly silent around us, and the guy stopped for a moment and realized that he had no other choice but to go back the other way. My grandfather didn't talk a lot, but whatever he said had meaning and weight.
The lesson is that the flag and the anthem have meaning to some. It is not that hard to simply stand and stay silent out of respect for others.

Professional sports and the Media believe Twitter represents America's feelings and therefore Social Justice and Racism rules the day.

Imagine how surprised they will be to find out the SJW on Twitter don't like Professional Sports because they were never good at anything but Twitter rants from their parent's basement.

That is their "new" fan base.

I watch hockey, the players do not kneel and they do a lot for the communities they play for. They play the sport because they love it not for the money. Lets GO Pens!!!

Go Hawks!
(Blackhawks)

Hockey is the best sport on earth. The best athletes and people. I loved watching my son play travel hockey. When he was 14 they won the National championship in 14U.
Just a magical sport. You don’t see any of this BLM bulL$hyte in hockey!

You will soon. They won't be the Blackhawks for long. :)

I'm going to follow curling. What other sport besides bean bags and horseshoes can you hold a beer in the other hand while playing? In some cases it is mandatory for ballast.

Regarding the NFL, the sport is not like MLB where there is a long history of playing the anthem with players on the field. That was a 2009 invention. From 1942 to 2009, there were no NFL players on the field during the anthem. So, the NFL should either play the anthem with the players off the field, or don't play it all.

Did you ever see the video when the mic cut out during our nation anthem and the canadian crowd sang it? It brought a tear to my eye when I saw it. It just shows how hockey is a different sport, from the game to the fans. Its amazing.

I usually have 2 US Flags hanging on my front porch. They were starting to get a bit faded, so I purchased new ones, plus a special one as a "F U" to the BS happening a few miles north of me in Marxist Seattle. I also want it to serve as a salute to the deputy sheriff (and any other police) that lives nearby and drives past my road daily.

You forgot Corn hole. In fact a couple months ago they had Corn hole championships on tv.

I got a request to sell a couple of these bumper stickers. If anyone wants a pair, $5 will cover the cost of a pair of stickers and mailing.

PM me with your mailing information and I'll send you my address info.

I do need to pass them out to two local departments yet and give some to departments where I didn't have enough, but there should be several left to sell/mail.

I stopped watching baseball after that strike years ago when they stopped the session in the middle.

I stopped watching the NFL as soon as I realized that Kraperneck want going to be a one off. I used to be a huge Ravens fan, but now I can't even name three current team members.

I'll PM you, as I would like to buy 2 if you can spare them. It also looks like you have funded this out of your own pocket, I'd contribute to that so that more of the police can get them.

My daughter had some stickers made about a year ago that is a #6 in the blue/white/black flag with the thin blue line going through it saying 'I got your 6'. We have one on each of our vehicles. I'll try to get a pic

EDIT: Found one online >
