The one thing that has always bugged my was tucking the boat away on the hard and not being able to monitor what's going on as far as someone going in or out of the boat. Did some research and found this camera on amazon. I've only been testing it for a few days now,but I'm very impressed. I can now keep an eye on the boat over the winter 24X7. It sends me notification over my unlimited data sim from T-Mobile and the video is 1080 and very fluid. It records to the cloud and I can monitor the battery levels which barely draw down over night. The icing on the cake is that its charged via solar. Excellent option if you you store your boat in a boatyard without Wi-Fi and are as paranoid as I am. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TKKPTL3?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
You do have to provide your own carrier sim and if you want 30 days plus of web storage there is a fee. It does come with a basic plan, which is free, that allows 7 days of recording.
I'm using this brand. Everything is saved on a SD card with web cloud storage option being extra. Battery life is fantastic.... 3-4 months but can be charged by a solar panel (extra) if needed. I'm using the marina wi-fi to connect. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L89YLHG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Here's the current view of Little Ducky II.
Like others it's also motion activated and a notice quickly shows up on the phone app. I have it mounted to the radar arch. For the price you get a good night shot as well with zero light.
