Weaver Davit System

I enjoyed the simplicity of the Weaver Davits on my former boat, a 30' Weekender. I have a brand new set of Weaver Davits in stock and would like to know if any of you have used this type of device on your Sea Ray, especially if you have a 320 Sundancer. I do have a few questions if you have:

1. Is there any problem with the slight curve of the swim platform?

2. Did you use the "quick release" plates to remove them when not is use?

3. Were you able to use them on your platform without sending them back to Weaver for customization?

4. Any problems with drilling the platform and bolting the davits on?

I'm getting short on time with my first vacation coming in just over a week. All replies and advice will be appreciated.

Hey Bob, if you don't get any hits here it might be a good idea to post this again in the "Sport Cruisers Official 320 thread". It seams to have alot more activity.

I think I will take your suggestion and do that right now.

Get the Weaver Lever for your outboard...it is the easiest way to put the dinghy and motor on the platform without having to remove the motor every time. This has to be the greatest boating invention EVER!
