Weather Updates East Coast??

View attachment 27796Jim, its just so depressing at the marina. I feel so bad for these owners . Thanks to all who had their fingers crossed for us. This is Mirage. Talk about lucky ? My buddies silverton came off her stands and came real close. He' sitting on his rudders,,

Glad to hear the boat is OK.

I find it interesting to see that on several different boards you can see various people who probably don't know each other but belong to the same marina.

I can spot several boats where their owners have posted about them elsewhere.

Very glad to hear this, Joe!! I'm sure it is tough for all of them, and you to witness the damage to the others. However, sometimes in these situations we all need a bit of good news and I'm glad you got some!!!

that storm didn't discriminate by brand or size.
what a sad event.

Met a guy at the marina who has a buddy in the coast guard, they say there's 50-60 boats floating in the ocean , not the bay the ocean .

Unbelievable!!! My brother keeps his boat at Oakdale Yacht Club. It is still not accessible. From what I hear the water came up to Montauk Hwy over there. His boat was on blocks. It is a 24' Welcraft walkaround. As far as my brother knows it might be one of the 50+ boats floating out in the ocean.

Holy crap W.Va got this. :wow:

Great news Joe! Time to buy a lottery ticket! It is so sad to see all of this destruction.

Seeing all of those broken boats just makes me feel sick. I heart goes out to those whose boats were damaged.

We are happy to hear!
Mirage isnt a mirage!

Joe,i hope they lift your buddys boat quickly,I am sure the rudders wont hold forever.BY the way those pics are making me sick,i hope the owners of the ruined watercraft are taken care of fairly and without haste or lowballed insurance offers.I also hope the marinas can rebuild ,i know most have been having a hard time as it is but what a loss it will be for boaters in general if there are no slips or service shops to keep them going.I hope there is no price gouging for slip fees or service like there will be for gas and diesel.

Joe, this is the pic I was waiting to see for a long time. My crew and I was very relieved to hear the great news that Mirage is fine.
