We’re finally boating Snowbirds!

John, it’s a Raymarine Axiom9 I had a second door made and installed it to use only for the new FLIR M232 I installed a few weeks ago.
You will like having the Flir camera. It is a great tool to make sure you can see everything when running at Night. The only issue I have with it is the field of view is narrower than I would like it to be. I spoke with the Raymarine guys at the Newport show and they said the field only gets narrowing with the higher end cameras because they are more focused.

Thanks guys we’re in Coinjock tonight jeremy I agree with the FLIR field of view but I did put it into “Pan “ mode it worked great leaving Ocean city MD this morning at 06:45 another tool I. The box!
I’m lucky as I have my own personal Capt well not onboard he’s on the phone with me daily! capt Rusty is helping me along the way.
I’ll keep posting

CVN 78 is the USS Gerald R Ford...She has the new Electromagnetic catapults and arresting gear - lots of problems along with the weapons elevators.

The USS John F. Kennedy will be CVN-79 (scheduled for commissioning in 2024) and the USS Enterprise will be CVN 80 along with a yet unnamed CVN-81 to follow.

So we made it to Bald Head Island this morning from Morehead city on the ICW the seas where pissed so we stayed inside. Got a slip at bald Head marina and went to the marina restaurant for dinner.
Funny the boat is named “mojo” also.

While at Sunset Marina NC we met a celebrity “TJ” from Hot Tuna on the show Wicked tuna caught a selfie as he walked from the boat and left his 2 rotties onboard View attachment 76340
TJ's dad has a place down in Key West... We rented a house next to him and became friends that week... A couple days in he was walking thru our front door with a bottle of tequila for breakfast shots... Good people...very down to earth.... Definetly addicted to fishing...

No surprise there seems like good people

Great pics. Keep them coming. I winterized the boat this weekend and It is coming out next week so I will need something to get my Spirits up.

Ahh so am I correct? Only because Warship 72 was communicating with Warship 78 as we entered so I’m not 100% if the Carrier was warship 78. ?
I can't read her number on your picture...CVN-72 is the USS Abraham Lincoln...

The last one I flew off of (decades ago!) was CV-61 - the USS Ranger. They scrapped her two years ago in Brownsville, TX. The Navy sells them to the scrapyard for $1!!!! Almost all of the conventionally powered super carriers are new scrapped....
