Wayne wins

If you think I am putting clothes on Ko-Jac the PIG, to apease CSR or any one or groups of people, well HELL NO!, Not just NO, but HELL NO. ( Unless it is for a contest and money, then I may think about it for a fraction of time.)

ROTFLMAO  Are you shouting? Or is that yelling? :smt043:smt043:smt043

HUH? What did we do now or this time?? I feel like singing who let the dogs out! Makes as much sense as some of these post!

Wow. It's like you have a 6th sense or something; something posts about a pig and WHAM, here you are in response!

I guess it's more fun that way though...

Enquiring minds want to know............

Yes he did. Anytime a user starts a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with boating and Sea Rays they enter into a gray area where the thread really doesn't belong on a boating site but we let them go because people just need to talk about .... stuff... sometimes.

The thread in question was just a complete waste of bandwidth, and, because it had nowhere else to go, it turned into crap. So Wayne got a little poke in the arm from a moderator to remind him what normally happens with threads like that and to maybe think twice about wasting bandwidth the next time. That was it. Its probably expired by now, if not it will be in a day or so. And absolutely nobody even knew about it except Wayne and the moderator. Why? Because its insignificant, not even a point of conversation. Its just the method this software employs to shoot a shot across the bow at somebody. But I guess Wayne got upset and announced to everybody that he was banned or whatever and that he was leaving.

So to anybody else that gets in this gray area, and the thread goes south, and you get a warning, just continue to enjoy the site like everybody else. Now if I could only get the 3 minutes back I just spent explaining this :smt101

Thank you Jim.........that is the source I was looking for. I knew there was an explanation & it just needed to be said.

Call it my Piggy Senses... You know like Spiderman has his Spidey Senses.

I never met a woman who wouldn't ham it up for a little extra cash.

Excuse me? Do you want to re-write this statement? Because I sure don't appreciate what it could and does insinuate.

Get your mind out of the gutter girl, it was never intended the way that you chose to interpret it. :smt018

Thanks for taking the time to explain Jim. I agree on the ZERO tolerance rule but was confused about the parade material until you explained it.

The "parade pics" were no doubt a tough one from a moderation standpoint. After all, those pictures were taken at a public parade in a major US city which was perfectly legal (at least there) and even had police involved just as you would see in a "traditional" parade. In attendance were children and adults of all ages. There was nothing in the pics that was not seen by thousands of people gathering to watch on city streets.

I made the point in the thread that I did not agree with children attending an event such as that, let alone it being held in public. It was however an educational look at the "left coast" that is rarely seen by some.

But the question remains, if it is OK to be in public........??

Not saying I question the moderation in the case of the parade pics, just noting sometimes it is a tough call. The moderators can run the site how they wish and I believe they do a good job. I respect all who moderate this site as it is a daunting task I am certain.

Thanks to the moderators for all you do!
