Wax/Buff Hull

That will work UNTIL, she ruins her delicates. Better to bring her in on the plan...MM

Who's side are you on?... I will keep my pad washing a secret.. it's safer that way. I am not allowed in that room either.. except when something breaks

Just got a bid for $50/foot. I'll prolly pay to have it done and then try to keep up with it from here out.

That seems high... I was $33/ft for hull, topside and hardtop.. Compound, Polish and wax... And I was told I paid too much.

It sounded high to me as well. Definitely going to get additional bids.

At that price point it should be full detail brightwork ,vinyl ,interior, exterior canvas Compound and wax

I have been through several detailers over the years. I used to do my 260 DA by myself but switched to detailers when I bought the 330 due mainly to time constraints. They have run the gamut in price ($350-$1000) & quality (excellent- piss poor). Last year the new guy I hired (recommended) cost $700 & did a terrible job, burning the stripes above & below the rub rail. Spent $650 getting re-striped then did the hull over myself. Boat never saw the water due to sports commitments but will this year. I will be doing the boat myself with my old Porter Cable machine & the new Dewalt that I got for half price 2 years ago through a link someone posted on here. I'm going to try the Presta products that were recommended to me from a professional detailer & fellow member of CSR. I will try & take before & after pics & post them up here when done.

I've started...port side above rub rail this past Sunday:
