I recently inquired about my water guage on my raw water tanking reading "full" all the time. It was suggested that I replace the guage. My water tank seems to be behind a wood "firewall" forward of the enging compartment, therfore I can not visualize the tank. Any suggestions on how to get to the tank? I have a 2002 340 Dancer. Thanks, Mark

Mark,
Our boats are similar, so I would say that the tank is under the bed in the aft cabin. You should be able to see some part of the tank from the storage for vacuume cleaner (right behind the steps) and then under the bed. Butm I think there should be access to replace the sending unit.

Mark,

On my '05 340, it is under the aft bunk - remove the cushion and then remove the 8 screws holding the plywood cover and you're there. The sending unit and water lines are on the port side (stbd looking aft).

I had a crack in the PVC feed elbow and was it filling up my center bilge. MM says that is a common problem.
