Very Cool!!!

I guess I should have kept the old one and repaired as a spare...

Would have been great to be able to get the source for the resistors from Jim and try fixing the spare.
I would have tried it on mine, but it was the only one I had and I didn’t want to screw it up.

4 transistors on the led circuit board. Easy fix. Just fixed someone else's from the Forum. I can send you the transistors or send the board.

Hi, I was reading through this thread and I have the same problem. Gauge reads full all the time. Are you still fixing these? If not could you tell me what transistor I need and I could probably fix it myself. Any advice/ help is very appreciated!

Hi Jim- have a 1997 Sea Ray 400 DA where that fresh water tank LED display lights up the 3/4 light no matter the level of the tank. Empty is empty and 3/4, half is half and 3/4, etc. something that can be fixed? From your posts you seem to be the expert on these things! Thanks!! John

Thanks! It looks just like JVM225 above but instead of all the lights lit up, my 3/4 lights up when I push the button along with whatever the real level is at (empty, 1/4, 1/2 or full).

happy to pay for your time to fix and test it!! Thank you!!

Will do!!!

Jim, it works perfectly! Thank you so much!!

Jim, I want to thank you. Last fall you mailed me 4 transistors and I soldered then in. Didn’t have time to play with emptying the tank and refilling it at the time.

it showed empty from when inwinterized and I hoped that was a good sign. As I filled the tank up this past weekend, I watched the guage, 1/4 then 1/2, then 3/4....

So thank you!!!!!

Jim
is this the same fix on the waste tank gauge also?
