Water System Switch?

On my 1978 260 Express Cruiser, there is a cabin water switch, and a water system switch. I've looked at the schematics that are available online and no mention of the water system switch, just the cabin drain switch for the shower. Anyone know what that switch is for? :huh:

I would think that the water system switch provides 12VT DC power to your water pump that supplies water to your taps in the head and galley. The cabin drain switch is likely for a sump that pumps water from your shower drain overboard.

Flip the water system switch and see if the water pump attached to your water storage tank cycles until the system is pressurized.
