I Have A 1886 175 Open Bow And I Am Experiencing Water In Blinge Area Even Sitting Still In The Water Without The Motor Running. I Inspected The Transit And The Bellow That Covers The Cable Is Broken. Is This The Problem. If So How Do I Fix It.

I don't think Sea Ray was in business in 1886. You should see a doctor about your Blinge Area.

It might also be a good idea to wait until you sober up before you post, it's often hard to get your thoughts together at 3:22 AM after you get home from the bar.

Are you statically linking or dynamically linking the water to the bling bling? Statically linked blings load with the main executable at run time while dynamically linked water blings load when called. Sometimes inspection state transits can be missed if the debugger is not correctly configured. Oh enough of this silliness....

Everything matters. Fix the broken cable boot. Also please get a dictionary, a glossary of marine terminology and a Harbrace textbook on English composition.

One does not capitalize the first word of every sentence.
The lowest point in the boat is the bilge
The vertical or nearly vertical aft most part of the hull where the drive is mounted is the transom
Finally water leaks

This is a written forum. Badly constructed posts say "I don't care." Yet, however, you're asking help from others. Help that has value and costs someone time to compose, write, and edit so that it's clear and understandable. It does not seem fair that you can not be bothered to compose something reasonably well written while asking others to help you with a problem.

Best regards,
Frank

I Wasn't Aware That We Were In English Class Today. I Just Wanted So Advice, But Thank You Anyway.

ERROCK................where do you hail from? Your profile doesn't give any of that information. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt with the language errors especially if you don't live in the USA.

If you know your cable bellows is broken that will have to be replaced for sure and possibly that is the source of your bilge water or possibly it could be something else. It would be helpfull if you could give us the exact model year of your boat, the motor that is in the boat and the outdrive model. Maybe then we can offer some specific advice.

Hi How Are You. I Live In Palmdale, Ca. I Here With Triplets,(two Years Old). I Am Responding In Between The Madness. My Wife And Nannie Has Gone Shopping. I Have A 1996 175 Open Bow Searay. This Is My First Boat, So I Don't Quite Have Toe Terminology Down Yet.

It Kilps Gotting Bitter!

come on guys - we're all from somewhere else originally! i'd like to see how my grandpa would have typed out a question when he left ellis island in 1924.

the melting pot, bring us your tired, your poor, your hungry...

and besides, i was born here, went to school from 1972-1992 and still dont use caps at the beginning of sentences. :smt101

Right now I suggest you get the boat into a Sea Ray dealer and have them look at it. If you are new to boats that's the best thing you can do because the fix may not be a do-it-yourself thing and you should not have water in the bilge. If water is leaking into your outdrive it usually finds it's way into the bilge as well and there are other things that could get damaged in the outdrive if you put this off.

You don't? Dang, I do. (Sorry, couldn't resist). By the way, capitalizing the first letter in every word makes it very difficult to read. Please Don't Do That.
