water level not working

I have a 2000 340 sundancer about 400 hours on it, the water level gauge showes full all the time even when the tank is empty. any ideals as the tank is not easy too access. thanks

I have a 98 370 D/A and have the same problem. I was told that S/R doesn't make the probe in the water tank any more. Not sure about what year they stopped having access to this but I know it's frustrating so if anybody else has a solution please pass it on tx

Maybe you guys can go this route, http://www.ddoem.com/Snake_River_Electronics/Products.asp they also sell stand alone compatible sensors if thats all you want. Hope this helps.

I had the same issue. Removed the gauge, clean the connections and now all works.

Just sand paper. Cleaned the spade connectors (male) on the panel, I did nothing with the female ends on the wires from the tank..

I had the same problem with my 320. I thought my water pump was defective only to later realize that my fresh water tank was empty despite what the guage said.
The same scenario happens with my holding tank. Marinemax has been no help.

+1 same issue but the sender on my tank seems to be epoxied in. How were you able to get the sender unit out without jeopardizing the integrity of the tank?
