Water Ingestion

Looking to buy 2001 310 Sundancer with V drives. Engines have 450 hours, with manifolds and risers done about 2.5 years ago. Concerned about water infiltration and what I should look at/inquire about before completing purchase on vessel. Any help would be appreciated.

Do a internet search on the subject and a search here. Lot's of info that you should be aware of. The engines on my 2001 310 were completely replaced in 07 due to ingestion. Mercruiser knew/knows about it and with the proper verbage replaced engines. Do your homework or you may be out $10K++++. Due diligence.....

Definately do a search on here as I had the same question when i was looking art 01 and 02 340's. From what i remember, it was 99 and 00 models mainly. But look back to be sure.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
