Any idea where water is getting in mid bilge area? The pump is no good and it pools in there. The AC lines are going to box and that bilge is working. We don’t use shower. I sucked it up and it refilled within a couple days.

Might want to check your port lights.

Last weekend I found the carpet in my cabin was wet, and water was under the step. Checked all the port lights and found a bit of water under one. Upon further inspection, the head of the on the screws for the dogs was broken. Without the pressure to hold the window against the seal rain was able to run in, down the hull side, and into the bilge. A new stainless screw fixed the problem.

I used my small spot carpet cleaner to suck the water out of the bilge and the carpet.

How did you get the broken screw out? I have a couple that are broke

Boatman - I had a broken one and was going to use a small punch and left hand drill bit. Tapped it once with the punch and it popped right out. Took one of the good screws to HD and matched it to an identical SS one...

Just the head was broken off mine due to corrosion. I used a pliers to grip the remaining shaft and twist out. There was plenty to grip. It was not tight either - slight more than finger tight - so it was easy.

Matched up with a new stainless screw from the hardware store.

Nice. Thanks guys. Will be on my list for spring. I haven't even tried getting them out yet. It is stored underground so don't have to worry about rain till spring.

Is your fresh water pump left on ? If so, it could be your fresh wash water line connectors ? I have replaced 90% of mine due to leaking and now just preventative measures...

Just another idea based on a similar mysterious water in the bilge. It turned out to be the water pump was leaking. My water pump is located in the front center bilge area. Small leak but adds up over several days. New water pump and all is well. Could also be a water fitting?

It’s the bilge area in mid cabin that’s filling up. My fresh water tank seems to holding ok but will look at lines in area to be sure
