[h=2]Water Collecting in 3 sumps in 240 SD OB[/h]
Hi, I recently purchased a 240 Sundeck Outboard and after nearly every rain, I find water in all of the "sumps" located beneath the access doors in the boat. I do have the Sea Ray standard canvas covering all of the open areas but water does get past the canvas.
And, water collects in the main/aft sump area (where the sump pump is not able to remove water which is not 2" deep).
So moisture is accumulating and creating mold in the various sumps - not all of the separate stowage areas drain to the back/sump. Is there a selfpriming sump pump or other way to remove this water - vs a sponge and manual soaking up of the water? The last time it rained, I sponged out nearly 4 gallons of water! Help! :huh:
