Hello, I am looking for some help! The boat is out and winterized - all good. On the inside of the cabin I have a few compartments in the floor. The one compartment, the smallest of the 3 - the furthest back in the cabin in the lounge area (the part that can be converted into another berth. I am getting water in that compartment - there is a pump inside it so I am not sure exactly how much water I could be getting. WHERE COULD THE WATER BE COMING FROM? The other two compartmets in the kitchen area show no signs of water and are dry. If I had to guess, the bilge is on the other side of the wall.

Any ideas??? Thanks,

I have a similar little access point back there in the mid cabin with a small bilge pump that occasionally shows a little water. I think we associated it once with riding with the power windshield vent open on a wet and wild ride home. Quite a few waves blasted thru the vent, and there are a couple of drains at the edges of the top of the helm on both sides. I never traced where they went, but those, and any water dripping down the stairwell door would seem to drain down that way.

The fact that there is a pump tells you Sea Ray must have been aware of the chance water would collect in that area. Is there any mention of the pump in the manual? Try calling Sea Ray for some intell.
