WANTED: Raymarine Transducer

Hey all,

I'm currently running a Raymarine C80 with a Rayster 125 transducer. I have gone through all the paces, but the transducer keeps losing position intermittently. I'm convinced it's failing. If anyone has a 125 or other compatible transducer they're looking to offload, I'm very interested. Thanks!

My Raymarine installer said that the transducer wire tends to go bad over time. I am replacing mine with a Airmar B117 to go along with my new Axiom 9 MFD.

Are you talking about a transducer that goes under the bot or your gps which is on top of the arch?

I thought that could be a possibility too, but watching the LED on the 125 indicates the gps itself is losing the fix intermittently. I’ll also probably go ahead and replace the wire regardless.

Thanks, but I seem to have potentially found one with a new wire as well. So killing two birds with one stone ..hopefully it’s just the GPS as it seems it would be a huge pain to run a new wire.

Transducer that goes through the hull to paint the bottom. New MFDs have a GPS receiver already installed in the unit.
