Hey all, I could use several interior and exterior parts for our new, well older, 79 220 weekender. Swim platform, Full canvass, engine valve covers, and several other parts.

Hey Dumoleiornworker. Try snooping around in eBay for used boat parts. There are a lot of used boat sites like boats.com, usedboats.com & boattrader.com that have a lot of "classic" basket case boats for sale.

I was looking around in all of them yesterday & found a ton of '70's & 80's models that were probably good for parts only. I don't know if any just sell parts, but most of these types of boats were just a few hundred bucks to buy. It might be worth it if you could find one like yours for cheap that had a lot of good parts left on it.

That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure some of the guys know where there might be some salvage yards in your area.

I'm off topic here but did you get your overheating problem fixed? If so what did you find?

Thanks Chris, And I would rather have the whole boat. And I have ruled out any problems on the inside of her, tried backing into the dock, raising the lower unit, clamped the ears on, took the water line off just before the water fuel seperator, started her.... and no water comming in at all. Gunna have to have my neighbor tow me to the ramp...... you know how a dum ole ironworker fixes stuff like that rite? we just get a bigger Beater!! It has to be the pump or some kind of impellar , heck, I dont even know what a marine water pump looks like, but gunna find out . I'll let ya know what I find... have a good one..
