Other than me being in it, this is a pretty cool video. Fix-mounted a camcorder on the stern.

I tied a tripod astern, and enjoyed the day!

If you can get past the jerky camera, maybe you'll like this one too.

Cool. Wheres the video of the 330DA?

It's a dangerous thing to ask me for a boating video. You'll probably get a lot more than you bargained for! :smt043
(I've posted this one before, but I think it's good enough to warrant a re-run.

jerky camera or Jerk behind the camera?

why does the video have that box that jumps around the screen?

good stuff! I'd love to be able to do some video.

Away Point,

Great video! Wonderful choice of music! Thank you for sharing your summer. See you on LSC this summer.

Since you asked...

In a very tedious process, I manually "improved" the stability of the video by moving the video around in the viewable frame, thus offsetting much of the camera movement.

In other words, after every half a second of video, I moved the video to re-center the boat like this...

No, I am not on LSCN.net. I usually peruse this site, yachtworld, and craigslist (always looking for the next boat). I'd like to get an older 300 WE, and have been eyeing a few. Doing the research on docking/winter storage, and trying to determine what i can get for mine. Need facts when presenting the plan to my accountant wife...

If all goes well, I get to rehab another boat!!

Hope you find what you're looking for!

But, when it comes to boating, the books never balance. Forget logic, go for the heart strings! LOL j/k

Good luck
