April is AIRSEP Service Month
96.jpg
Over the past year we still have received many calls and emails from diesel engine owners who ask..."What do I need to do to keep my AIRSEP system running properly?" So we are selecting APRIL as "Service Your AIRSEP Month" this year. Over the next 30 days we will try to focus on sharing service tips, discussing system operation, and answering common questions about the AIRSEP system and how to keep it operating efficiently so it offers the most benefits for you and your engine.

There will be four (4) special issue newsletters in April that cover these topics. April will serve as a reminder to get your system in "tip-top" condition for the upcoming cruising, spring make ready, or fishing tournament seasons. Or in the case of industrial or Genset applications, a good time to review the system before potential summertime blackouts.

We will do our best to cover pertinent issues as well as discuss service procedures, replacement items, or system upgrades. However, if there is a question or service related topic you would like to see covered, please visit our website and send me an email: sales@walkerairsep.com. We will do our best to incorporate it into the series.

How to service your CCE AIRSEP system
101.jpg
If your marine diesel is a Cummins, QSB, QSC or a Caterpillar C30, C32 engine, then chances are that you have the new Walker CCE AIRSEP system. First introduced back in 2001, the CCE system is easily identifiable by the new "springless" design that uses a V-band clamp to fasten the air filter to the AIRSEP unit. It incorporates a high efficiency fumes disposal system, a washable air filter, and a high performance turbo silencer. You may also have this newer system if you upgraded your older AIRSEPS to the newer CCE system on your Detroit Diesel, or Alaska Diesel engines.

The Walker CCE AIRSEP system uses a dual filter pak INSIDE the Airsep body. These disposable filters should be replaced periodicallydepending on your engine model and hours used or every 2 years if your vessel is used less than 150 hours per year.

If you are unsure if your engine uses the newer CCE Airseps, or if you have a question on how to service the system, send us a short email and someone will contact you direct from Walker.

Want the best Crankcase Fumes Disposal System for your marine diesel engine ?...send us an email and find out how you can upgrade to the CCE Airsep today, and get free shipping during the month of April.

New Field Service Kits for CCE AIRSEPS
104.jpg
Walker Engineering has recently introduced new field service kits for CCE AIRSEPS ® factory installed on Cummins ® QSB and Cummins QSC engines. These kits will restore your AIRSEPS to like new condition, and are ideal for fall or spring service schedules.

The kits include all parts required for complete servicing of CCE AIRSEPS on a twin engine boat.

105.jpg
The newer CCE AIRSEPS have high efficiency disposable elements used INSIDE the AIRSEP, so they must be replaced periodically. To see if your AIRSEP is the CCE system, just check to see if your filter element is blue, or does not use springs to attach the filter, if not then it has the disposable elements inside.

Walker plans to add other engine models to it’s field service kit list in the future. To check availability and pricing, please contact Walker engineering directly.

Each kit contains: two (2) air filters, two (2) internal coalescer filter sets, two (2) replacement o-ring sets, and an air filter cleaning kit with Walker formulated blue oil. (Kit numbers are # 1000266 for QSB, and # 1000267 for QSC).

Cummins and the C & CM logos are registered trademarks of Cummins Inc and Cummins Mercruiser Diesel respectively.
