Are there any areas that you guys can share that has a small beach that we can pull up to dock and walk around. Then after that, I want to wakeboard. Any body know?

Yep.

We have a 12.8 mile long barrier island that separates St. Andrew Bay from the Gulf of Mexico. You can beach the boat at any place along the entire 12 mile stretch, but there are several white sandy beach areas…..about 1/3 of the island where the bottom is visible out to about 15 ft deep. The rest of the island has grass flats that run almost to the beach. This is a coastal area and we do have long stretches of open water where prevailing breezes can cause a decent chop on the surface. For that reason, you might have to deal with a ruff ride on some days.

One word of caution for this area, however, is that there is a lot of commercial traffic here. You will need to know and follow the rules of the road and don't plan on wake boarding near the pass or channel entrance or in Grand Lagoon, which is a very busy waterway. The other caution is that we also have a lot of tourists in rental boats, pontoons and PWC's. YOu cannot count on them knowing a thing about boating or the rules of the road so stay away from the areas where you see pontoon boats congregating.

Is a great area……come and enjoy boating in Paradise!
