voltmeter spikes (down) when i use the trim button

I've noticed a sharp spike in the voltmeter when i trim out, so i suspect i must have a short somewhere. Anybody have any experience with this?

How much of a spike? If I'm on a weak battery (on it to charge) my tabs drop it like a rock, trim not so bad, and Corsa open really knocks it down.

I have the same thing when I use the trim switch the voltmeter fluctuates down momentarily. I don't think it is a short, it's likely just a sudden voltage drop that occurs when the trim motor is engaged. I don't consider it a problem, but maybe a less than perfect circuit design.
