I have a couple of scratches ( one is a very slight tear) in my seats. Short of taking the boat into a vinyl repair shop, is there anything I can do to touch them up/repair them?
unless you are a skilled vinyl repair person and have the appropriate tools, dyes, etc a DIY patch will look very poor. I would take my 30-40k boat to a pro for vinyl if I were in your shoes. A good vinyl guy will patch vinyl in a way that repairs cannot be seen. I am fortunate to have a fella locally that goes to the extent to match the small little veins in the vinyl.
A vinyl repair place is the way to go. Get a recommendation from your dealer. They work with these types of folks on a regular basis and know who does a good job. And most times they will come right to your boat whether it's at home or at the dock.
