Vintage 450DA gelcoat colors

Just got this email from Sea Ray in regards to my gelcoat colors. Whom ever finds this useful. 1996 450 sundancer.

There are two white gel coats used on this vessel:

For the hull, it was Cooks Composites Arctic White their color # 944WF044, it was under Sea Ray part # 665877. For the deck and all other components it was also Cooks composites, their color # 951WF044, and was Sea Ray part # 665885. They are both the same color but the deck and component gel coat had an added sunscreen protectant.

Got off the phone with spectrum, they don't have a reference for 944WF044, only for 951WF044. Supposed to be the same color but with UV protection. So I ordered that, will let you know if it matches.

Wasn't aware of the UV protection version. I've always had good luck with the spectrum repair kits...easy to use & perfect match on the arctic whites.
