Couldn't stand it and had to get out on the water yesterday. I picked up a new GoPro 3+ and was trying it out, so here is the first video. The boat performed beautifully. About a month ago I had someone clean the bottom. We opened her up and reached 26.2 mph at WOT. Tachs were showing 2750. At 2400 we were posting 21 mph. I captured return docking, which is something I have been wanting to do for a long time. Geeked out editing the clips last night. Let me know if there are issues accessing the video.

Enjoy!

Nice docking! Quite the classic next to you.

Nice. Got a Go Pro for Christmas from the wife.....can't wait to get it on the boat.

Man there's a ghost on your boat. He just vanished around 0:23. :smt043. Nice video. I'm looking forward to getting out there for my first season.

Love the vid.. were you running out on 1 engine ?? noticed 1 throttle full back.

Jim, I had the engine sync on. I push the secondary all the way forward when I am in sync, not only because I was taught that, it helps to quickly indicate sync is on lest I forget.

Who is the gent to your left?

nice vids, but for the record, I would rather hear engines and prop wash at docking. That's my kind of music!!!

Dp, I am actually the one who disappears from the shot. You see a buddy of mine piloting the boat in these pics. My father in law is seated port-side.

David,

The other reason you advance the slaved engine with a Glendinning synchronizer is that it removes the cable load of from the throttle lever to the engine from the synchronizer servo. The synchronizer doesn't have to push/pull the length of cable as it adjusts speed because it is already fully advanced.

Bummer, vid is blocked up here. We got out on Sunday too. Had the whole place to ourselves, opened 'er up for a bit, no alarms, everything's fixed now,,,,, YAY!!!! :smt038 Went to start taking pics of the whole day so we could post them here for our unfortunate friends in the East, and the camera batteries were dead.:smt021 Try again this Saturday. High today is expected to be 18*C (64*F) Man are we fortunate.
