Video for you - My trip ICW and Atlantic Ocean - Enjoy

Pietro,

Yes, you can see the old analog tachs in some footage and the digital Aetna tachs in others. I changed to digital before I went back North.

One of the reasons I left the footage in of the tachs was so you could see the fluctuations. If you watch full screen and HD you should see that they do fluctuate a few RPM. Depending on sea state and load, etc. I think it's normal.

BTW - I really like them and consider them far more accurate than the analogs. No more tapping on the glass to get them to settle down.

Ok, so it's normal! I also believe they are far better than analogs! Than you.

You're welcome, I switched them out during my trip. So there are images of the analog tachs and the digital tachs in the video. You can also see the digital ones are smaller so I needed to replace the dash panel for them to fit. I'm very happy with the digital tachs. They make it easier to confirm the engines are synced and, like I said, no more tapping on the glass to get the analog dial to settle in.

Fantastic!! Thanks for sharing!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. The fact you kept this radio guy's attention for that long is a testament to your editing skills! Normally, 30 seconds and I'm out! lol.

Great job. Sure looked like a great trip.

Thanks Mark, that means a lot....

I was hoping to keep it entertaining and informative. My initial edit was 35 min long, but since Youtube has rules and I wasn't making a film (haha), I thought it a bit crazy to keep it that long.

What I do think is missing are the long cuts that would have made it a little easier to understand the distance of this trip.

It was fun and challenging.... I think the one of the biggest challenges is just doing it instead of talking about it..... Hopefully others that have the desire will follow behind.

Actually wanted to be up in your neck of the woods, but I think I missed my weather window. I was going to take my convertible from LA up the coast to BC and then come back down through Montana for a road trip. But, I think the weather will turn too cold by the time I get to LA.

Thanks for the video, looks like you have LIVED my dream......well, maybe someday?????

Well if you do make it this way, drop me a note! It's still pretty warm by the way. High 80s tomorrow and Thursday, into the mid 20s next week.

Again, in, great video.

That would be 74-76 Fahrenheit. Oops, slipped into CDN speak!
