How old are your batteries?
The sensors are very voltage sensitive.

my zeus are new and my mechanic refer to the low voltage even that battery was 13,7 make the decision to install new one / also all connector and plug clean with CRC just to have best connection at this point i need a technician i guess.

Not exactly in your neck of the woods but I suggest giving Southeastern Marine Power a call.
They should be able to help or make a recommendation.
I'll check around as well.

one more for you
Midwest Marine Services in Deerfield beach
ask for Corey Gallman

Have you poked at Marine Max to see if they have or can recommend a Mercury/Cummins certified systems technician?
I'd suspect that your VV is reporting a bonified issue with the Zeus system and this isn't an issue with the VV/Smartcraft system.

@ttmott
Tom, I'm supplying him names of certified zeus mechanics. I agree, i dont think it is a vesselview/smartcraft issue.

I'm a little confused. If both drives are new and this problem just came up after installation......who did the work? I would expect that they have the equipment to diagnose what the issue is.

That said....it would be great if you could post all the messages you are seeing. The ones that caught my attention are the Joystick/Autopilot unavailable. That and a couple of other messages led me to this 2023 thread in Australia.

https://www.sbmar.com/community/topic/cummins-zeus-pods-joystick-unavailable/

In this particular case.....it turned out to be the joystick itself. It is a complex system.

Based on the little error info provided by the author, I suspect a bad GPS antenna. He stated 'IMU' was part of the displayed error. This is the Inertial Measurement Unit and is tied to the autopilot/GPS. If the GPS is bad the Precision Pilot light will flash continuously since it isn't receiving a gps signal.

You where right 100% the Antena cable was bad, just to get to that point new batteries $3k,new Antena plus new cable1, 200k,computer tecnitian, 1,100k Thank you for your advice.

The cable...not the antenna...that's interesting. Smart Craft diagnosis is tough unless you find an experienced fellow. Be glad it wasn't the antenna as it is an earlier version on your boat and is hard to source. The newer antenna is a combined GPS & IMU and requires some Smart Craft reprogramming which a tech could easily mess up.

BTW, you might want to join the Mercury Marine Zeus Pod Owners Group on Facebook. If you had posted there, your issues would have been seen by over 430 Zeus owners and service facilities.

Dunigan thank you for your advice will go on facebook for sure ,following your advice we did the installation of the new Antenna Cable and install the same GPS300 antena that was in good condition, will return the GPS400. did a see trail today every thing back to normal.

Best regards,
