Just put my boat in the water last week, had trouble starting it....opened up hatch and looked around....pulled plugs and noticed not getting fuel. Looked at the fuel filter and lines. Noticed a vacuum hose right by the injectors. There is a T fitting on it and nothing connected to it. I covered it and motor started right up. If I take finger off, it it sucking pretty good. Runs okay but has trouble starting without plugging. My question is does anyone know where this should be connected? I cannot imagine what happened while it was in storage! SHould I just plug it? ANy help is appreciated...the manual has nothing on it.
THanks for the help

oh, it's a 2005 27' SLX with a 6.2L DPI motor

Perhaps it is just the way the picture is, but it appears that the nipple on the T is broken.

see what you mean, but it must just be the flash. It is intact. Looked all around the engine for a line that maybe fell off, cannot find anything.....baffling me
thx

Looks like a vacuum line for the PCV if that is the valve cover. Might need just put a boot over it if you can't find anything I don't know of any thing else that would go there.

Glen, I don't have a 6.2L to look at right now, but I do have a 350MAG MPI. It's got lines in the same place as yours. The hose that comes off the "T" goes to that little silver regulator on top of the fuel module/filter assembly (front, lower, starboard side of engine).

thanks for the reply....I will look at that today. Hope I find it, can't imagine there is not a hose to it. Will see
