Hello all,

My vacuflush system keeps running after use. It used to run accasionally and then stop. Then afetr a while it would cycle again. Seems like it is losing pressure. So, with that said, am I right to think that the seals are going bad? I have been looking online, and have found a repair kit that replaces most of the seals for about 200.00

Thank you for your comments.

Yes, eventually these need serviced to fix vacuum bleed off. There is an outside chance that the pressure switch is bad. Using the search utility here, I'm sure you will find several threads on the subject.

BDO86 I have looked on my build sheet and the make, model is not listed, actually nothing head related is listed except for the maceration unit.

So just exactly where does one obtain the Make and Model. I do know it is a Sealand

This link sounds good from CSR

Thanks

Same thing mine is doing :smt013

I'm going to follow flarepoman's example and order the whisper motor and seals, it sounds like a sweet deal.

If your bowl holds water, the toilet parts are fine.
When all is quite... climb down in the bilge and listen after a flush... sometimes you can hear the leak if its a hose or fitting issue. Otherwise its likely the duck bill valves.

So how did that all turn out? My forward head will not hold PSI. Changed the duck bills and PSI switch. Going to redo the whole deal this week end. Got any ideas before I get wrapped in plastic and descending in to the lower areas?

Since you've re-worked the pump and if the bowl holds water, first check I would make would be to take off the hose at the pump inlet. Hold your hand over the inlet or otherwise seal it off, turn on the system and see if the pump turns off and stays off for a reasonable period. If it does, the problem is probably somewhere in the hose between the head and the pump.

I had a screw hole in the line between tank and toilet (as delivered from Sea Ray) that was found by my dealer. The vac. pump would cycle every 3 minutes. Once repaired all OK.
