Not to hijack the thread as i think it is relevant, was wondering if anyone has installed knock off duck bills in their vacuflush systems, and what results they have had. There are a lot of them out there on ebay and like everything, they are coming from China. Because they are significantly cheaper than the Dometic brand, it is tempting to try.

 

I ordered these and they have been working just fine.

I'm not sure why, the Dometic ones aren't all that expensive to begin with, and it's not something you want to have fail sooner than normal.

 

I would agree. This is one area where staying with the brand is worth it due to cost/reliablity

 

For this shitty job, I would not want to cut corners to save a couple of bucks...

 

A lot of RV's and travel trailers have vacuflush systems. I've had good luck shopping for parts online at Dyer's;

This duckbill is 1 1/2", so make sure thats what you need.
Mine is 2".
