V berth bedding

Can/Has anyone replaced the factory padding in their V-berth with a mattress or memory foam? I have an 05 290 AJ and want to get something more comfortable to sleep on.

Any recomendation?

I added the Froli Sleep System "springs" under the mattress and a 3" gel/memory foam topper and it is pretty comfortable.

We added some thick memory foam, and its quite comfortable. The only drawback when adding to the original setup is it becomes too thick for the doors on the storage spaces to open without squishing down the foam.

we put 4 Inches of memory foam on top of OEM mattress, very comfy!

We tried the foam route but then located a real mattress from a fellow CSR member who purchased a custom mattress from http://www.boatbeds.com/index.html Best investment we made for our 300DA. And it has a hinge so you can open the storage spaces easily.
