Useless Passenger Seat Cupholders

Does anyone have a good solution to do make these cupholders more useful. My Bayliner has the same type. They don't actually hold cups too well. There's not really room to install drop in cupholders though without introducing water to the cabin.

I saw another brand if those and was wondering if the spacing lined up. This one fits pretty well?

Similar issue with my 330. It’s a two hole but here is what I did with mine. That’s an Edson brand. I like the open spots that work with mugs with handles. I trimmed out the plastic one to accommodate the attachment base for the Edson.
